Cheesy Garlic Bread

Cheese, garlic, and bread – our favourite! This delicious dish is fantastic as a side to warm soup, served alongside Chilli Con Carne, or as part of a buffet lunch. With the perfect amount of garlic, butter, and gloriously creamy cheese, this is the kind of garlic bread recipe you’ll want to make over and over again.

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 50g melted butter
  • 1 handful of parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 crusty loaf
  • 150g Primula Original Cheese
How you do it
How you do it
  • Preheat your oven to 180°C/ Gas Mark 4.
  • Combine the garlic, butter, and chopped parsley in a bowl and mix well. Season to taste.
  • Slice the loaf of bread vertically at 2cm intervals. Leaving 0.5-1cm at the base – like a regular garlic bread.
  • Generously squeeze Primula Original Cheese between each slice.
  • Place the loaf on a lined bake sheet and top with the melted garlic butter.
  • Wrap in foil and bake for 10 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for a further 5 minutes so the cheese remains wonderfully melty and the bread is beautifully crisp.
  • Serve immediately. Then reach for more.
